This is quite true for the feet, which are commonly kept in socks and shoes all day. Fungus is highly contagious, so if you are in the shower at the gym, you are likely to get it if someone else who is showering there has it. Another big risk factor comes from spending time in saunas or spas. If you wear shoes constantly, every day, you are at a high risk for developing fungus. You should try to keep your feet cool and dry at all times.
